Waterfront Residence & Landmark Lighthouse.

It’s the most unique rental property on the Island.
Literally thousands of people have photographed
the outside of the Lighthouse. Now, you will be inside.

The Lighthouse was featured in the motion picture, Cider
House Rules and on 10 calendars. One calendar called it one of 12 Great Destinations in the world.

The 2nd floor of the Lighthouse is a study with a futon,
extensive miniature lighthouse collection and memorabilia.
3rd floor provides seating area and 360 degree picture
Postcard view of the working Bass harbor with 65 lobster boats and views of Cadillac Mountain and Acadia National Park.

Our home is a an historic building, meticulously renovated
on a quiet dead end street, walk to local library, town dock,and sea memorial. We have lived here for 40 years.

In 2008, it will be the first time we have rented our property.
We prefer to limit the number of guests to 6 but will
accept 8 with a small additional payment.

Our home has a total of 10 rooms (3 living rooms), 2 ½ baths, first floor of Main house has a kitchen/laundry area with all new appliances, washer/dryer, microwave and toaster
oven, living room #1 with TV, gas fireplace, sleeper sofa,
adjacent dining room, office and ½ bath. 2nd floor has
#1 master bedroom with twin beds, guest bedroom with
double bed, full bathroom. 3rd floor has very large loft
with 2 double beds and 1 twin bed. Large wraparound porch.

First floor of new wing has spacious gallery, living room #2
with TV, treadmill, rowing machine, book and music collection,#2 master bedroom with adjacent bathroom. 2nd floor has large #3 living (great) room, TV, wood type art assemblages.



Amenities include professionally maintained garden.

Weekly rental starting Saturday, Aug. 23
to October 25. Rates: Plus $500 security deposit.
Aug. 23 $3500 for up to 6 people. $200 additional for 7-8 people
Aug. 30 $3500 for up to 6 people. $200 additional for 7-8 people
Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27 $2750 for 6 people. $200 additional for 7-8 people
Oct. 4, 11, 18 $2350 for 6 people. $200 additional for 7-8 people
