Charming Rhode Island lakefront home located on the peaceful shores of Indian Lake--a pristine 200 acre freshwater lake, less than 10 minutes from Narragansett Bay and the state's best ocean beaches. The lake is great for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. The recently renovated 1,300 square foot house is clean and inviting, with gorgeous water views. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and sleeps five people. Authentic pine paneling, polished wooden floors, large windows overlooking the lake, cathedral ceilings and numerous skylights create an interior that is both bright and cheery. The great room (23'x15') is the heart of the home, but there is also a large family room with sliding doors to the deck, a fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry. One bedroom has a queen-size bed while the other has two twin beds that can be made up into a king. The family room has a double-bed futon couch and can be closed off from the great room for use as another sleeping space. New for 2006 are four sit-on-top kayaks for your use on the lake. There are books, board games, DVDs and videos for your enjoyment.

If you want a change of scenery, a two minute stroll brings you to the community’s sandy beach (with a floating raft), the tot lot, and basketball court. Just past our house the quiet country road turns to dirt and ends at a small public boat ramp suitable for small fishing boats and canoes. (RI does not permit motors over 10 h.p. on the Indian Lake.)
